This is the largest unit of Phoenix Group located at Ganakbari, Savar. Dhaka which was established in 1985. It started commercial production in 1997. It is producing yarn of various counts both cotton and synthetic and manufacturing fabrics of different composition. The plant suffered huge loss in the devastating flood of 1988. But with the able leadership of its Chairman, Mr. Deen Mohammed, the project could survive and came into full operation within three months of flood. Now it is one of the leading spinning mills in the private sector. It is continually feeding the local readymade garments industry particularly Phoenix Garments Ltd. With local fabrics. The plant is going for expansion of another 25,000 spindles with latest European machinery to feed the export oriented Knit, Fabrics unit.
